Turbinicarpus valdezianus var. albiflorus, MZ 662, Cedros, Zacatecas, Mexico.

This is a beautiful little Turbinicarpus, covered in dense, white feather-like spines. It's a slow growing species which remains small. They flower already in April-May and is often one of the first to flower in the greenhouse. The flowers are white with a light pink midstripe on the petals. Otherwise there are few differences between this variety and the species.

We recommend a mineral soil and a deep pot to accommodate the large tap root. It is not a particularly difficult species, but can be sensitive to overwatering.

10 seeds per packet. The seeds germinate well under normal conditions.
