Gymnocalycium gibbosum (plant)

These are old plants, sown back in 1998. Unfortunately they have ended up being neglected for quite some years and are now far from as large and beautiful as they should have been. They are in need of some TLC! The plants are still in good health and of flowering size.

Gymnocalycium gibbosum is a very variable species with large differences in spination, flower colour and so on. The plants for sale here have light spines against a fresh green body. The flowers are creamy white with a pink throat. They flower willingly through summer.

This is a very easy species to grow and a super plant for beginners.
