This is a genus full of pretty species and E. unguispina is no exception. Like the other members of the genus, this species has miniscule white spines that cover the plant. The tiny light pink flowers appear in May. The species is self fertile, and pretty red fruits appear at the top of the plant during summer.

We recommend a mineral soil for all Epithelantha and to provide as much sunlight as possible. They are not particularly difficult but can be susceptible to overwatering.

20 seeds per packet. The seeds germinate well under normal conditions.
