Cintia knizei VS 322 (10 seeds)

Cintia knizei VS 322, Padcoyo, 3500m, Chuquisaca, Bolivia.

A beautiful species from the Andes in Bolivia. The only species in this monotypic genus, studies have shown that Cintia knizei is closely related to Weingartia and some authors also include it in that genus.

This is a slow growing species and does best in a mineral soil. The species develops a long tap root, so a deep pot is recommended. Pretty, yellow flowers appear in May. 

Approx. 10 seeds per packet. They germinate well under normal conditions.
